Background of the Study
Human trafficking is a severe human rights violation and a prevalent issue in Agatu Local Government Area, Benue State. Factors such as poverty, lack of education, and inadequate enforcement of laws contribute to its persistence. Development communication has emerged as a critical tool in combating human trafficking by raising awareness, empowering vulnerable groups, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
1.2 Statement of the Problem
Human trafficking remains a significant challenge in Agatu, with devastating consequences for individuals and communities.
